TAE40122 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Classic Virtual Delivery

Course Overview

St John’s Classic Virtual Delivery program spans twenty (20) online classroom days over six (6) months.

The term 'Classic' summarizes the essence of traditional learning, gracefully merging time-honoured classroom methods with the flexibility of online accessibility.

Led by experienced TAE trainers, each session intertwines with your journey of learning-by-doing, featuring interactive activities like group discussions, case studies, and self-discovery learning. You will practice essential workplace trainer-assessor skills and work on real assessment tasks.

Following each formal session, you can reinforce your understanding by engaging in the corresponding learning activities available on Moodle. Access professionally designed resources, including a participant guide, templates, and clear instructions for assessments.

This distinguished model will suit those new to vocational education, seeking a logical step-by-step approach and enjoy collaborative engagement with like-minded peers.

The model is participant-centric, participant-driven. Once enrolled you will be given full access to the: course material; assessment tasks; professionally designed learning resources; and Popwater Education, a virtual Registered Training Organisation!

This course will run over 6 months with 4 blocks of 5 days each including delivery and assessment. The duration between the face-to-face delivery sessions will be allocated for self-paced guided learning weeks, offering you the chance to lead your own learning journey. The trainer will support this process by providing additional details on learning activities and offering guidance on initiating assessments.
